Make sure you have an up to date and complete copy of the FreeBSD
sources before you start -- or that you are in the correct directory
when you type 'make buildworld'.
The best way to get hold of the FreeBSD sources is via cvsup(1). You
can install cvsup simply by:
# pkg_add -r cvsup-without-gui
Detailed instructions on getting the sources may be found here:
http://www.freebsd.org/doc/en_US.ISO8859-1/books/handbook/cvsup.html
And make sure you:
# cd /usr/src
before you start running make(1).
Cheers,
Matthew
