How to install the latest version of automake on ports

Hi Kris,

Tks for your advice.  'pkg_add automake' would not
look for the latest version of package 'automake'

Kindly advise whether I should run

# cd /usr/ports/devel/
# pkg_add -r automake17

OR just
# cd /usr/ports/
# pkg_add -r automake17

Shall I run 'make clean' afterwards
