That doesn't help either. I am still receiving the following error message at boot-up:

Starting moused: moused: no such port name specified

It then give me the usages tor moused. Even with your change, the wheel does not work, and I have tried all sorts of different configurations. It does work just fine under WinXP, even without using the driver supplied with it.

Any other ideas?
