adding freebsd boot to grub

See what "DOS" and "Linux" do.

If one of those actually boots FreeBSD, rename it.

If not, do this at the grub> prompt (assuming your FBSD slice is (hd1,1) in GRUB):
grub> rootnoverify (hd1,1)
grub> chainloader +1
grub> boot
-or- (this one's better)
grub> root (hd1,1,a)
grub> kernel /boot/loader
grub> boot
