ports/lang/expect compile errors

Hi All!

I get this error when attempting to compile lang/expect from a fresh
cvsup of ports:

maroon# make WITHOUT_X11=yes

I'm no real coder, so I can't even begin to figure out where this is
going wrong. Can anyone help?
