My scroll wheel on my mouse won't work!!

Hi.
Try to edit your /etc/X11/XF86Config
and in the section Section "InputDevice", put something like this :

Section "InputDevice"
        Identifier  "Mouse0"
        Driver      "mouse"
        Option      "Protocol" "auto"
        Option      "Device" "/dev/sysmouse"
        Option      "ZAxisMapping" "4 5"
        Option      "Buttons" "5"
