A way to add multiple users at once?

Greetings,

I am sure this has been asked many times, but a search of the archives
didn't turn up anything.

Is there a script or program of sorts that will allow me to add multiple
(about 150 users) with all the same permissions, shell, etc, as opposed to
adding each one individually?

Running 4.8-RELEASE FreeBSD 4.8-RELEASE #0
