From: /etc/crontab: /usr/sbin/periodic daily 2>&1 | sendmail root The above works with no problem. But, the following does not: /usr/sbin/periodic daily 2>&1 | lpr -it just gives me an "Ambiguous output redirect" How can I get this to sendmail, *and* also to the printer?
