X in Jail?

X server -- no, not one of the usual X servers that will drive a
locally attached display.  You'ld need the ability to dedicate a vty
to the jail(8), which would be very handy, but is not currently
possible.  You should be able to run something like vnc, which
provides an X server you can connect to over a network via the vnc
protocols.

A window manager on the other hand is just another X application, and
you can certainly run it anywhere you can pop up a window onto a
remote display.
