help setting up DVI output on Geforce 4 and freebsd-5.1

I am running freebsd-5.1 with a Geforce 4 video card that has a DVI output. My monitor is a digital plannar ct1905-s flat panel with DVI input...so i would like to connect my monitor to my Geforce 4 card via the DVI port. I have searched google and nvidia but am unable find any usable help. I would appreciate any information on how to make this possible.
