Weird ./configure errors

Yes, ignore it. The error comes from the fact that users are not allowed
to chmod in FreeBSD. Therefore root will not get this. Linux fails
silently (same problem, no error). The error causes no harm. (If it was
fatal, configure would say so). Compile away :-)
