help - it hangs hard

Q: Does it have a problem without adjusting the parameters at all?
A: Yes same problem.

Q: Can you install with the floppy disconnected?
A: My recollection is that I could not move the floppy to inactive status in the
menu
    Will have to verify later today. Will update at that time 7-8pm Pacific time
