| What's in your ntp.conf file? What command line did you use to run
| ntpdate? Were you root? Are you sure there are NTP servers reachable?

| Also, ntpdate is depreciated. You should be using ntpd with the
| proper switches/configuration.
ntpdate was working *perfectly* with
4.7R,4.8-Stable.
