Just wanted to everyone know that I have a couple of work-in-progress
ports for Python 3.3 that are very close to completion:

Changes to to support Python 3.3:

The first port is a verbatim copy of lang/python32 with lzma support added:

Regression tests:

Port (gcc base):
Port (clang base):
Configure/make (gcc base): (clean)
Configure/make (clang base): (clean)

Relevant upstream issues for test failures are: (test_ctypes fails with clang) (libffi/clang - patch applied to port) (socket.NetworkConnectionNoServer) (sysconfig.SysconfigTestCase)

The second is a major gutting of the lang/python32 port, which aims to
reduce complexity and isolate root causes for the test failures (know now)

I have merged rm@'s EXTRACT_SUFX change to support .xz DISTFILES and
will merge it into the port once it settles down.

Suggestions and feedback welcome.
