The Restless Daemon identified a configure error while trying to build:
python26-2.6.2_3 maintained by python at FreeBSD.org
 Makefile ident: $FreeBSD: ports/lang/python26/Makefile,v 1.164 2009/09/15 21:41:21 miwi Exp $

Excerpt from http://T64.TecNik93.com/logs/7-STABLE-FTP/python26-2.6.2_3.log :

Note that some of the standard modules are provided as separate
ports since they require extra dependencies:

bsddb databases/py-bsddb
gdbm databases/py-gdbm
sqlite3 databases/py-sqlite3
tkinter x11-toolkits/py-tkinter

Install them as needed.
