Hi, not sure if its useful,

I have just installed 12.0-RELEASE - using:
FreeBSD-12.0-RELEASE-powerpc-powerpc64-disc1.iso - on a PowerMac G5 Quad with
8GB Ram, the system booted from the CD and installed fine with no intervention.

On rebooting after the install, I had to set usefdt=1 to get it to boot as the
system would just freeze part way through the kernel loading.
