Looking at the Linux source, it appears the driver does exist, the PowerMac8,2
uses the "onyx" driver.  However, the Open Firmware device node doesn't exist. 
I'll see if I can whip up a patch for you to try.  I don't have the hardware,
so I'll need to rely on you for testing.
