Native OpenJDK8 for PowerPC64

I've only tested using ports directly, with the bootstrap jdk separately installed.
I've not tested building in poudriere. However, you can give it a try.

This is fantastic, thanks for working on it! Can a build be kicked off in poudriere, or should I only test using ports directly (meaning, do the patches apply for using your build as bootstrap-jdk as well, or does the bootstrap binary jdk need to be installed separately)?
