Xorg on FreeBSD 10.x. Mac mini G4: black screen

Are you sure it *isn't* working? For a few releases now, X's extremely 
irritating default behavior is to give you an all-black screen with a 
black cursor and do nothing else. So if you just start X without also 
starting, say, an xterm, success and failure are indistinguishable.
