FreeBSD 9 beta kernel panics

Hi all,
I just tried out two of the latest BETA isos for powerpc64 on my
PowerMac G5 Quad (2xdual core 2.5 GHz, 4 GiB ECC memory), and both ended
in kernel panics, although the BETA2 release panicked later in the
process and for an apparently trivial reason.
With FreeBSD-9.0-BETA1-powerpc64-bootonly.iso (MD5:
5acab3ab0388b0556209e41fb31dfbba) I got a panic early:

With FreeBSD-9.0-BETA2-powerpc64-bootonly.iso (MD5:
ed0ac1edfcfe71596f7409339cfabc9f) the boot progressed further, but I got
a kernel panic when the system thought that the CPU were too hot (I can
assure you that they aren't running at 1024 degrees centigrade ;)):

The BETA2 kernel panic seems to be the result of some temperature sensor
driver that is failing.
(The BETA2 release isn't even official yet, is it? I got it off some
FreeBSD ftp mirror.)
So... if there's anything I can do to ensure that the final release of
FreeBSD 9 boots successfully on my hardware, I'll be happy to help.
Regards,
- Erik
