Yes, that worked. Thank you. The machine now runs:
root at kg-g5# uname -a
FreeBSD kg-g5.kg4.no 9.0-CURRENT FreeBSD 9.0-CURRENT #0: Sun Mar 27 01:52:37 CET 2011     root at kg-g5.kg4.no:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/GENERIC  powerpc

(on that particular partition).
