portmaster --check-port-dbdir is broken for me

There was a patch included on 16 July. I could not figure out why it 
wants to remove everything at your computer. Can you remove the patch, 
rebuild portmaster and check if everything is fine again?

I set se@ into CC, because he wrote the patch.
