​The ipmitool command I use is:

# ​ipmitool -I lanplus -H ​<ip-of-BMC> -U ADMIN -a -o supermicro sol

​With the normal serial console configuration in FreeBSD
(/boot/loader.conf, /etc/ttys, and so on).​
