Well, I'll be damned:
fetch
'https://codeload.github.com/netz98/n98-magerun/legacy.tar.gz/1.89.1?dummy=n98-magerun-1.89.1.tar.gz'
1.89.1?dummy=n98-magerun-1.89.1.tar.gz 100% of 1679 kB 1036 kBps
00m02s

ls -al 1.89.1\?dummy=n98-magerun-1.89.1.tar.gz|awk '{ print $5 }'
1719495

fetch
  'https://codeload.github.com/netz98/n98-magerun/tar.gz/1.89.1?dummy=n98-magerun-1.89.1.tar.gz'
  1.89.1?dummy=n98-magerun-1.89.1.tar.gz 100% of 1679 kB 1051 kBps
  00m02s

ls -al 1.89.1\?dummy=n98-magerun-1.89.1.tar.gz|awk '{ print $5 }'
1719486

If you could just run a make makesum, then no other modifications will
be needed. It's just a github thing and I got a local patch that uses
tar.gz instead of the legacy.tar.gz thing. Totally forgot about it, as I
did that way back when things with codeload were screwed up (and added
nodeload.github.com in the process).

I'll revert my local patch, so that I don't submit the same mistakes in
the future.
