I was wondering if this was ever fixed?  And if so how?  I am seeing the same issue with the OSSEC-SERVER:

ossec-syscheckd(1210): ERROR: Queue '/usr/local/ossec-hids/queue/ossec/queue' not accessible: 'Socket operation on non-socket'.
