If that were true then everyone should switch to pkgng now.. the problem
is fmtutil and fmtutil-sys does not exist on my system and appears to be
included only in tetex not texlive .. it appears there used to be a port
for it, but it is no more (merged into tetex?)
.. you might want to check my other post, TEX_DEFAULT=tetex in make.conf
fixes it... all my build servers (which auto-update both the jails and
ports trees) failed for the last 24-48 hours because of this... putting
in the TEX_DEFAULT at 5am today all the failed build lights have gone
out... still got to build 9.3 amd64 & i386 as well as 10 on both archs
for both PKGNG and non PKGNG... but it is looking good so far.
