Hi Matthew,

can you also provide your patches against the files dir?

I just recognize your patch was shaped against a portsnap tree, therfore my first try against a svn tree failed.
I can try to build the port on 8.3/9.1 (amd64) and if it builds commit your work and transfer maintainer to you.
