I've been using a few plugins (focusblur, lqr, resynthetizer mainly) without any problems. The Gimp devs are realy conservative about plugin APIs, and it seems that even ABI wasn't broken as I did not have to rebuild any plugin.

But I haven't done the new gimp-data-extras and gimp-help (doc was released a few days after the app).
