firefox 13.0,1 needs lang/gcc46 -- to RUN?!

Is that enough:

ahab:/home/rotkap> whereis clang
clang: /usr/bin/clang /usr/share/man/en.ISO8859-15/man1/clang.1.gz /usr/src/usr.bin/clang


Do I have any advantage with gcc46 - or the other way arround: Do I have
any disadvantage with the base gcc?
