subversion 1.7.0 is coming. Many ports are not ready -- what should I do?

Hi Lev--

You're probably aware of this already, but the Subversion release
engineer wants to roll a 1.7.1 build soon-ish to fix a number of issues
that have cropped up in 1.7.0 testing.  I'm not sure how that will
interact with your plan to have Subversion 1.7.x in FreeBSD 9.0.
