failed configure of multimedia/handbrake

I'd say lines 110-112 of the Makefile (REINPLACE_CMD on configure) are why
sed is being run :)
As to why ${WRKSRC}/configure expands to this weird thing... can you show
us the output of the following two commands:
make -V WRKDIR -V WRKSRC -V WRKDIRPREFIX
make -X -V WRKDIR -V WRKSRC -V WRKDIRPREFIX
...in the same (ports/multimedia/handbrake) directory?
