libvpx-0.9.1 doesn't seem to want to compile on current.

I don't think so, as the changeset[1] got committed at 1857 UTC (== 1357 CDT)
on July 25, whereas OP's kernel is built at 1241 CDT (== 1741 UTC, from output
of `uname -a`), which is before the commit.

And BtW, my jails are built on 5th August which already has that changeset.
