Maybe this is not the right place to post this; however, there is a
newer version of the MySQL ODBC available - ODBC-5.1. The port version
'/databases/mysql-connector-odbc' is 3.51 presently. There is a version
available on MySQL that is suppose to be written for FreeBSD.
