I think that you can try to use pkg-install for this target. For

case $2 in
	# Install real files from *.default.
	for i in lib templates; do
	    for j in `find ${PKG_PREFIX}/ispman/${i} -name
'*.default'`; do real=${j%.default}
		[ -f $real ] || cp -p $j $real

And pkg-deinstall of course for delete them.
