I can't fetch or compile cvsup port on AMD64 Dec. snapshot

I had tried that serveral times, always trying to connect to an ip  
that didn't work and today by going direct with ftp I got another IP  
that did work and downloaded it then installed it direct based on the  
address that Lowell sent.
