Using finch (libpurple) without X11

Hello,
Last week I tried to use finch (the Pidgin CLI application) on one of
the machines I maintain that doesn't have X11. For some reason, I must
install X11 before I can compile libfinch. I don't really want to
install X11 just to test some CLI tool, so I took a look and found two
problems:
- gnomehier depends on USE_XLIB. This shouldn't be needed, because the
only thing this port does, is create some placeholder directories.
- libpurple depends on gnomehier to install a desktop icon for Pidgin,
even though Pidgin is not installed. The port should only install the
desktop icon when actually installing Pidgin, right?
