Weird issue after Xorg upgrade [solved]

It was/was not related.
Something went wrong dealing with xorg-server (make deinstall
complained about bad md5sum), nvidia and libGL.
All goes right reinstalling these ports.

I'm still asking myself why only root... but it isn't so important...
