how to get samr support in multimedia/vlc complile

I have been trying to get vlc to compile with samr support to test  
videos for cellular.  I now get the following results.

rtsp://rtsp.youtube.com/youtube/videos/GTxxPvY5t6Q/video.3gp

[00000320] main decoder error: no suitable decoder module for fourcc `samr'.
VLC probably does not support this sound or video format.
