Problem w/ Zope Port

Hi;
I went to build out the Zope29 port. I didn't know until a lot of research one has to type:
make install instance clean
Didn't know about the instance. At any rate, I ran
make install clean
then 
make instance
and got this error:
cat: /usr/ports/www/zope29/work/instance_message: No such file or directory
*** Error code 1

Please advise. And if the portmaster is reading this, maybe put a little note in the build doc to "make instance" ;)
