In addition to the help you've already received on submitting your change,
you might want to also take a look at
http://www.freebsd.org/doc/en_US.ISO8859-1/books/porters-handbook/rc-scripts.html
which describes in detail how to make a script for the new rc.d style.

Thanks for converting these programs to use the new style, the users will
appreciate it.
