Since the xnc port is marked broken in 5.4, I retrieved the latest  
PORTVERSION=5.0.4. This port is not marked broken, but it messed up  
pkg_info. pkg_info|grep xyz produced the message "can't read +COMMENT". I  
resolved this by deinstalling xnc.
