The last fam release is more than two years old, and the port is still
at 2.6.9 (which is rapdily getting three years old!). Besides, fam is
buggy w.r.t to NFS mounts.
I don't know about gamin, but it seems awfully linux-centric and
therefore rather unstable on FreeBSD. We would need to sneak in a *BSD
developer with kqueue-fu into the gamin team ...
