I'll do it. Actually I have the patches for 1.8.3 locally. But VMD 1.8.3
can be built only with Tachyon 0.97 (which was posted to public yesterday)
and my patches were without tachyon.
I hope that I'll be able to clean up some issues and roll the patches
next weekend.
