portupgrade dependencies

Hi all,
any help on installing portupgrade from an up-to-date ports tree ?
Here's my problem:

Stop in /usr/ports/lang/ruby18.
*** Error code 1

Is the only solution waiting for ruby 1.8.2.p3? 
Something smarter than deinstalling portaudit, installing portupgrade (thus no
vulnerability check is done) and, at last, reinstalling portaudit?
