By popular demand I've started making available bzip2'ed versions of
the INDEX and INDEX-5 updated bi-hourly, at

  http://www.freebsd.org/ports/INDEX{,-5}.bz2

'make fetchindex' will be shortly changed over to fetch these
versions, saving about 5.4MB of download per fetch (600K vs 6M).
