Hi, Given that these server type java ports run as daemon processes in the backgroundm wouldn't it be wise to start them up with -Djava.awt.headless=true set? If nobody can think of a disadvantage to this, I'll work on a patch that makes it an tuneable in the makefiles with an eye to making it a default option at a later date. Mark
