c++ problem?

Thank you Kris. Helpful as always.

I did try searching the archive. Problem is, my search for
c++ returned nothing...  I just tried it again with libstdc++
and of course that brought up the messages. Doh.

Should a problem like that be put in UPDATING, or is it too
