problems compiling mono

Hi

I'm trying to install mono-1.0 on 4.10 and it seems to be stuck in a loop
for the last 4 hours. the last lines are: Package exported to:

/usr/local/lib/mono/1.0/Mono.GetOptions.dll ->
/usr/local/lib/mono/gac/Mono.GetOptions/1.0.5000.0__0738eb9f132ed756/Mono.GetOptions.dll
Mono.GetOptions installed into the gac (/usr/local/lib/mono/gac)

truss gave me this output

couldn't find anything in the bug search (being a newbie I hope I searched
