Hi developers
I recently install freeBSD 5.2.1 and I would like install gettext, but when
I execute make command, it show me this error message:
checking for strstr... yes
checking for vasprintf... eval: 1: Syntax error: Bad substitution
configure: error: /bin/sh './configure' failed for gettext-tools
===> Script "configure" failed unexpectedly.
Please report the problem to ports at FreeBSD.org [maintainer] and attach
the "/usr/ports/devel/gettext/work/gettext-0.12.1/config.log"
including
the output of the failure of your make command. Also, it might be a
good idea to provide an overview of all packages installed on your
system (e.g. an `ls /var/db/pkg`).
*** Error code 1
Stop in /usr/ports/devel/gettext.
What should I do?
Thanks for your help.
