You will have to manually create icons for the OpenOffice bits under
GNOME.  You can use some of the pre-existing
/usr/X11R6/share/gnome/applications/*.desktop as examples, or as root,
launch Nautilus, and go to applications-all-users:/// and create new
launchers.
